Both DirectAdmin and cPanel endorse CentOS only; unlimited hosted Top Level Domains; request an extra user account login for domain, invoice transaction and customer support ticket handling purposes; root access availability. All dedicated web hosting servers are available solely in the American data center.

Control Panel ¹ - The Hepsia CP is a standard accessory only in combination with the Debian Linux Operating System and is included free of cost. With Hepsia you can host unlimited hostnames under one account. This is achievable owing to Hepsia's efficient Domain Manager menu. The other hosting CP platforms, i.e. cPanel and DirectAdmin, are obtainable solely in combination with CentOS. In contrast with Hepsia, with them you must have TWO different user account logins. This is so, since cPanel and DirectAdmin do not deliver any domain registration/transfer/administration functions. If you opt for Ubuntu as an OS for your dedicated hosting server, there will be no web hosting CP choice.

Hosted Hostnames ² - unmetered domains can be hosted with all offered web hosting CP devices, but only with Hepsia you can register/transfer/administer your hostnames in a single hosting user account. Unfortunately, the cPanel/DirectAdmin Control Panel tools do not present such possibility at all - there is no Domain Manager tool and hence they call for 2 separate hosting user accounts: one domain administration/billing/support user account and one website administration user account (i.e. the actual cPanel/DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel).

Operating System (OS) ³ - you will observe that the Hepsia web hosting Control Panel supports Debian Linux only. It's free of cost to run it on your dedicated web server. Hepsia is not available with CentOS or Ubuntu. The cPanel and DirectAdmin CP devices are offered only with the CentOS Operating System. Neither of them is offered with Debian or Ubuntu.
